Melanie Dare and Claire Bushby have been working at Midland Junction Arts Centre on The Fabric Of Us, the first of two residencies to develop a collaborative working methodology that explores the commonalities between their working processes, focusing on cultural connections to place and relationships between self-identity and community.
Melanie and Claire invite the public to visit their studio as they work together/alongside each other. They look forward to discussions about the connections that have developed over their two months at MJAC and their plans for extending this collaborative practice toward their second residency in 2020.
