All material supplied. Please bring along some old clothes to wear or an apron, and a drink bottle. Parents welcome.

Happy Planters with Emma Vinkovic

Create a happy home for your pot plant this school holidays with Emma Vinkovic from ERV Ceramics. Emma will demonstrate how to build a sturdy planter which can then be decorated with a quirky face. Once your pot is fired, plant some seeds and watch a head of hair grow!

Firing costs are included.

Use the power of the Sun’s rays to make your own blue and white plant prints. Local printmaker Phoebe Todd-Parrish will introduce the method of solarfast dyeing to make easy stencil artworks out in the sun.

Field Sketching with Alastair Taylor

Learn to field sketch your local surroundings with Alastair Taylor. From trees and shrubs to buildings, this workshop will have you looking at the landscape through the lens of an artist. Alastair will show you his own sketchbooks and paintings before heading out on a drawing expedition in the gardens around the arts centre.
