Yoowalkoorl - Come On, Come Here
Bringing together Aboriginal artists from across Western Australia with connections to Aboriginal Art Centre Hub of Western Australia (AACHWA) and Midland Junction Arts Centre, Yoowalkoorl, meaning come on, come here in Bibbulmum/Noongar is a blend of exhibition and marketplace celebrating the work of Indigenous artists from across the state.

Cultural Awareness Workshop
Join John Mogridge and Lea Taylor, to better understand local Aboriginal culture through objects, stories and discussion. The workshop is designed to share insight into historic and current issues, to build respect and connection.
John and Lea are passionate about young Aboriginal people knowing who they are and where they are from, and helping all people open their eyes to the richness of the culture of the First People’s of Bibbulmun Boodja.
Creative Culture’s Lea Taylor is an Aboriginal weaver, artist and workshop facilitator and John Mogridge is an Aboriginal Artefact maker and City of Swan Aboriginal Partnership and Development Officer.

Bring along a jacket or vest and customise it with amazing First Nations designs, choosing from a wide range of fabric designs from remote Aboriginal art centres.

Maalinup Aboriginal Gallery
Sample sauces, jams, chutneys, oils and dukkahs from Maalinup’s bushtucker range or treat yourself to a handmade soap or book.
Maalinup offers Aboriginal cultural activities, talks, performances and bush tucker, as well as a local Aboriginal art and hand painted gifts at their nearby Swan Valley gallery.
