Explore the combination of screenprint and stitch in this half-day workshop with Angela Ferolla. You’ll learn to screenprint stencil shapes and patterns onto fabric, before embellishing with a range of fun embroidery stitches, sequins and beads. Basic materials will be supplied, but be sure to bring along anything special as you might like to print and embroider on a cushion cover, tea towel, tote bag, or item of clothing.
Angela is a Fremantle based textile artist working on projects such has her vibrant fashion label Rocucu and costumes for the West Australian Ballet. She is an experienced teacher of textiles and costume design, delivering custom workshops to the students of WAAPA, Fremantle Arts Centre and beyond.
