Create your own Cyanotype Sun Print with local artist Bina Butcher. Known today for its beautiful indigo hues, Cyanotype was a photo process developed in the late 1800s and used by the first woman photographer, Anna Atkins. It is a great beginner alternative photography process due to its uncomplicated and forgiving nature. In this class we will make a number of photograms of native flora using non-toxic solarfast dye. Be sure to bring a long any interesting objects you would like to utilise in your prints.
