Learn to professionally handle and install 2D artworks in this three hour introductory workshop with Fiona Gavino. Whether you’re an artist preparing for an exhibition, or looking to better look after your personal art collection, you’ll learn a range of art handling and hanging techniques with best practice for preventative conservation. This workshop will cover artwork height formulas and wall fixing methods such as hanging wires, direct fixing and tabbing.

Fiona Gavino is a nationally recognised fibre artist and educator who applies basket making materials and techniques to create sculpture and installation. From 2012-2020 she was the Professional Development and Training Officer for ART ON THE MOVE.
