Mandy White unveils new public art commission

An installation of colourful bush creatures called woodarchies by Danjoo - Interwoven artist Mandy White has been unveiled on the corner of Cale Street and The Crescent as part of Midland Gate’s redevelopment.

The sculptures are inspired by stories of the playful bush creatures passed down from the artist’s grandmother and mother. Woodarchies are a common theme in Mandy’s work and can also be seen in her four works on paper on display as part of Danjoo - Interwoven.

The sculptures are not far from MJAC so make sure you take a look when visiting Danjoo - Interwoven.
