For the Best is a new evolution of the memorable community engagement programs Whiskey & Boots offer. Partnering with The Last Great Hunt and writer Jeffrey Jay Fowler, For the Best fuses community interviews, music and performance, seeking insight into why we sometimes lose contact with the people who were once closest to us.

PERHAPS YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE YOUR STORY?

We are a group of professional theatre artists making a show about how and why even good friendships can end. We sit with individuals to listen and to record true stories of lost friendship. We are weaving these stories into a live performance.

Should you choose to share your story with us it will be handled with care and discretion, and you will remain anonymous.

All participants will be invited to see a showing of the work in development.

Perhaps sharing your story will be a rewarding experience. Perhaps sharing your story will help others who have also lost friendships.

Our previous shows include Mama Stitch, Bystander, The Quadrangle, The One, The Hypotheticals and I'll Tell You in Person

We will be recording people's stories in person at Midland Junction Arts Centre between 10am - 5pm from Wed 2 Oct.
