Parallel Paradigms celebrates the convergence of diverse artistic voices during a three-month residency in Midland Junction Arts Centre’s Veranda Studio in 2024.
The collection of works, created by DADAA art workers and the artists with disability they collaborate with, explores the unique, yet interconnected perspectives of individuals working across various realities. Through this shared artistic journey, Parallel Paradigms highlights how creativity can flourish through collaboration and the beauty and strength found in the intersection of experiences and abilities.
For nearly 30 years, DADAA has been at the forefront of disability arts in Western Australia. From arts mentoring and workshops, through to collaborating with disadvantaged communities on large scale projects, providing access to arts and culture for people with disability is at the heart of everything DADAA does.
DADAA Midland offers a year-round program of workshops, exhibitions, mentorships, and community outings for artists with disability. Workshops are run from DADAA’s studios and in Ellenbrook, Hamersley, and Midland Junction Arts Centre.
